Trustname Service Level Commitment (SLC)

Applies to: Trustname domain registration, DNS, hosting, and email services


Trustname (Fewmoretaps OU) does not provide a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) with guaranteed financial compensation. However, we are committed to delivering reliable services and maintaining system availability through commercially reasonable efforts, as outlined below.


1. Availability Commitment

Trustname aims to maintain continuous operation of its core services, including but not limited to:

  • Domain registration and WHOIS services

  • DNS resolution and record propagation

  • Web hosting and email forwarding

  • Customer dashboard and control panel access


While Trustname endeavours to provide 99.9% uptime, no specific uptime guarantee is provided, and this figure is indicative only. Availability may be affected by scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or force majeure events.


2. Scope of Commitment

Trustname’s commitment includes:

  • Proactive infrastructure monitoring and maintenance

  • Incident response and mitigation

  • Transparent communication of disruptions and planned maintenance

This commitment applies only to services directly controlled by Trustname and excludes third-party services, customer-side connectivity, or client-managed configurations.


3. Support and Response Times

Trustname provides support via ticketing and email. Response time objectives (not guarantees) are as follows:

  • General support tickets: within 12 business hours

  • Urgent system-level incidents: initial response within 2 hours

  • Scheduled maintenance notices: minimum 24 hours’ notice, where feasible


4. Service Interruptions

Service availability may be impacted by, but not limited to, the following:

  • Scheduled system maintenance or updates

  • Hardware failures or data centre outages

  • Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks or security incidents

  • External network disruptions

  • Regulatory compliance requirements or legal orders

  • Events beyond Trustname’s reasonable control (force majeure)

Trustname shall not be held liable for interruptions caused by such factors and reserves the right to perform emergency maintenance without prior notice if necessary for security or system integrity.


5. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Trustname disclaims any liability for service interruptions, data loss, or indirect damages.

  • No financial credits, refunds, or penalties shall be issued based solely on service availability, unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.


6. Data Protection and Compliance

Trustname maintains appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect user data and ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All personnel with access to customer data are bound by confidentiality obligations.


7. Modifications

Trustname reserves the right to revise or update this Service Level Commitment at any time. Continued use of the services following such updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
